Overview
Cosysense, an Investment Ready Programme alumnus operating in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) sector, focuses on optimising heating and cooling in commercial buildings through AI-driven climate control and smart sensors.
Cosysense secures £1.5 million to scale AI‑driven HVAC efficiency
In November 2025, Cosysense closed its £1.5 million combined Angel and Pre-Seed round. The investment round was led by Bethnal Green Ventures with Cambridge Enterprise, Syndicate Room, Innovate UK and Cranfield University institutional investors.
The funding will be used to scale the business. As the company explains, the funding will support growth across product, commercial and operational areas, including expanding its growth and customer success teams to accelerate enterprise conversions while maintaining high standards of client support and satisfaction.
Alongside this, Cosysense is increasing its R&D capacity in built‑environment modelling and grid physics to further develop its control automation architecture, as well as moving into a dedicated office to support testing and edge development.
“Together, these investments strengthen our ability to convert pilots into revenue and shorten deployment cycles,” the company says, while also unlocking new revenue and impact streams. This next phase lays the foundations for applying frontier physics and automation to real‑world cleantech applications, taking the technology from the UK to global markets.

Investment Ready Programme: Cosysense’s experience
Cosysense joined the Investment Ready Programme back in September 2024.
Here’s what Matias Acosta, CEO of Cosysense, has to say about the programme:
“Taking part in the Investment Ready Programme was transformative for us. The workshops on investor narrative, financial modelling and go-to-market strategy were especially valuable. We revisited our financial projections, making them more professional and rigorous, and the training equipped us with key concepts to better understand how investors think and evaluate opportunities.”
“The one-to-one mentoring and elevator-pitch practice sessions sharpened our playbook and clarified the milestones we needed to hit to become truly investable. Funding London’s support ensured we entered the round with a far more compelling story, a validated market pathway, and the confidence to engage institutional investors at a higher standard. I would strongly recommend the IRP to any team preparing for an angel or pre-seed raise."
